I photograph to make my way of seeing the world visible. What interests me are images that do more than depict — images that shift the view, that unsettle, surprise and rearrange a thought.

My attention usually goes to people, to everyday situations and to travel. I work by observing rather than staging: close to the person, but leaving room for the context around them. Wide angle and close in, rather than a long lens from a safe distance — being near enough to be part of the situation is what makes the picture.

Black and white is what I reach for most often, sometimes colour — deliberately altered, worked with contrast. Photography, for me, is a change of perspective: an invitation to see the world differently for a moment.
